We continue to believe that the woodland which borders the Triangle is Ancient Woodland. We have provided additional evidence to the Council in the form of a further report researched and written by Dr Judy Webb BSc PhD BEM.
Dr Webb's report highlights material flaws and errors in the Technical Note provided by OUFC's consultant, Aspect Arboriculture. Not least, the consultant's report has failed to include a key piece of map evidence which clearly features the woodland.
We continue to lobby the Council on this point. We do not expect the Council to agree with us on this matter but it is important to highlight what we perceive to be key procedural errors to the extent that we wish to take further action on this in due course.
