The stadium is on the agenda at Kidlington Parish Council's Extraordinary Meeting this Thursday, 2nd November. The agenda item reads as follows:
"To consider KPC’s response to OUFC’s initial plans with particular regard to the proposal to
shut Oxford Road near the Oxford Parkway on match days before and after games"
The Council will consider whether to adopt this statement of its position on this
aspect of OUFC’s current stadium plans. At the time of writing, the draft statement concludes:
"If Oxford United’s plans cannot avoid drastically disrupting vehicle movements on the Oxford Road,
the inevitable conclusion is that the County Council should not be allow the plans to go ahead in
their current form."
