Following Oxford United's recent press release, we would like to clarify that our claim for a judicial review is against Cherwell District Council. Oxford United Football Club Ltd and Oxfordshire County Council are interested parties: they are affected by the claim and therefore have a right to actively participate in the proceedings.
OUFC is applying to the court to have the claim expedited i.e. put before a judge more quickly. We are not opposing this.
As our supporters are aware, OUFC's management is entirely responsible for the club's current predicament, and in particular the failure to have a Plan B.
